I began my venture into Dobermans in 1995 with the acquisition of Am/Mex/Asian/Grand Thai CH. Foxridge's Black Robber, "Robert", who became our foundation dog. Robert was bred by Mr. and Mrs. Mattson of California, USA, and handled by my cousin, Mr. Puttipol Wangviriyakul, "Tee". At the time, Tee was a mere 15 years old, and had already garnered multiple Best Junior Handler awards in the USA as well as being one of the top handlers in Thailand. Upon Robert's retirement, he had garnered an enviable record of 15 Bests in Show and was a Working Group winner in the US. It was at this time that we became serious about Dobermans, with the ultimate goal of becoming the premier Doberman kennel in Thailand, as we have been with Chow Chows for over 20 years! We subsequently purchased Am/Asian/Grand Thai CH. Foxfire's That's Red Hot!, "Jagger", as a puppy, from Michele Santana of the United States. At Jagger's first show in the States, he won a major from the 6-9 puppy class under esteemed breeder/judge Mrs. Sheila DiNardo. He followed up this incredible achievement by taking Best Puppy at the American Doberman Club specialty under the well respected judge Mr. Clay Coady. Jagger traveled to Thailand to grow up, and at his first two shows, won the Working Group both days as well as winning Best Puppy in Show at the AKU championship show. All of this was awarded from the 9-12 puppy class, quite an achievement for such a young dog! In limited showing, Jagger finished the year as the #6 Working dog in Thailand. He returned to the States to finish his American championship and did so very quickly, with 3 major wins. Arriving back in Thailand in May, five months behind the competition, Jagger still managed to finish the year as #2 dog all breeds and #1 Working dog. Completely owner/handled, he won a total of 9 Bests in Show, 13 Group Firsts, 4 Group Seconds, and 1 Group Third. Five of the nine Bests in Show were awarded by breeder/judges. In the first show of 2005, Jagger won Best Champion of Champions (Best in Show) at the Thai Invitational Dog Show, under well respected judge Mr. William Taylor (Canada). The same day, at the FCI show, Jagger won Best in Show under all breed judge Mr. Hans Lehtinen (Finland). The "Queen's Trophy" was also awarded to Jagger at both shows. We were delighted and honored to be selected for these awards.
Our Dobermans have not only done well here in Thailand, but over seas as well. Am/Can CH. United's First Edition was the first Thai bred Doberman to earn an American championship and was the first Thai bred Doberman to earn a Canadian championship. Can. CH. United's Black Pepper of Holmrun finished her championship at the Doberman Pinscher specialty. Can/Thai CH. United's Sunrise at Holmrun achieved multiple Best Puppy in Show awards, as well as a Group Second and his C.C. in Thailand before heading to Canada to continue his winning ways. There, "Sonny" went Winners Dog at the Doberman Pinscher specialty and finished quickly in limited showing, placing in the groups along the way.
Our next generation of Dobermans are rooted to the strong foundation that both Robert and Jagger have provided for our breeding program. It is our goal to selectively breed proven individuals combining beauty and strong bloodlines, to produce Dobermans that are mentally, physically, and genetically sound.
